Skincare | Anatomicals Review

If you know me and my blog, you will know that I'm a little bit obsessed with skincare and am forever mixing up my routine, and trying new brands and products. I like to do this for a couple of reasons, the first being that there are just so many amazing brands out there that it seems a shame to stick to the same products all the time, and secondly because the skin can become too used to products, and you often see a decline is results if you use them for too long.

Today's post features Anatomicals, who have have the tag line 'we only want you for your body.' This tongue in cheek statement definitely sums them up- quirky, colourful and fun, the brand claims to ‘manufacture the world’s funkiest toiletries,’ and say they have ‘single handedly banned boring beauty regimes across the nation.’ I’ve tried and tested 3 of their bestselling skincare products to see if they live up to those very bold statements…

'From Worrying Complex To Wonderful Complexion' Face Care Set
First up, this face mask set which contains 3 x 15ml masks, each designed to target a different area. 'Get outta' my face dirtball' is an apricot scented face scrub, 'the hottie tottie is never spotty' is an anti- blemish mask, and 'Hawaii five- glow' a hydrating mask. Although each is designed for one use only, I've managed to get 2 uses out of each of the sachets as a little product goes a long way. I religiously exfoliate once a week, so the face scrub has been a welcome addition to my routine, plus at least once a month I have a breakout, so the anti blemish mask has been perfect to soothe and heal my skin. The hydrating mask is the one I use on those 'OK skin' days to give my complexion a little boost. At just £3.49, these masks are really reasonable, plus their colourful and eye- catching packaging makes them a perfect gift or stocking filler.

'Puffy The Eye Bag Slayer' Under- Eye Patches
Being someone who suffers quite badly with under eye circles, this product had my name written all over it! Containing 3 sets of 2 patches (6 in total), simply remove them from the packaging, place immediately under the eyes, and then just leave them for half an hour to work their magic. Cooling and refreshing, they contain moisturising agents and collagen, which helps to reduce puffiness and darkness under the eye area, as well as preventing aging, if used regularly. Once the half an hour is up, I dab any excess product gently into the skin, to ensure that none is wasted and my skin gets the full benefit. After use, my under eye area feels immediately moisturised and bright, and these are a god sent, especially when I'm tired or hungover. 'Puffy the eye bag slayer' under eye patches retail for £6, and each set can be used once.

'Stop Cracking Up' Lip Balm
The last Anatomicals product I've been using is this lip balm, which tackles even the driest of lips. It has a gloss like texture which glides on with ease, and after using it for just a few days, my chapped lips (damn you, British weather) already felt moisturised, plump and supple. I have a lip balm in practically every bag I own as I really suffer with dry lips, especially when I've been using a lot of matte lip products, so this little beauty is a great addition to my collection. 'Stop cracking up' retails for £2.49, and comes in a 15ml red and yellow tube, with a green contrast box.

Have you tried any Anatomicals products?
