Fashion | My Watch Collection

Gone are the days when watches were seen just as functional essentials- they are now more than ever a fashion accessory, and in my eyes, complete an outfit. I've been growing my collection for the past few months, and in today's post I will be sharing my current favourites with you.

I'd been looking for a chunky watch for a while when I stumbled across this matte and shiny Michael Kors beauty whilst shopping in America. Michael Kors is so much cheaper out there than in England, so I thought it was the perfect excuse to buy it, and it has been a favourite of mine ever since. This tends to be my 'everyday' watch as it goes with practically everything- most of my jewellery is gold, and I think a chunky watch teamed with bangles on the wrist always looks great.

Having lusted over this Daniel Wellington watch for at least a year, I put it on my Christmas list last December and was lucky enough to find that Santa had left it for me on Christmas morning. I was initially unsure whether to go for the ladies or the men's Classic Sheffield, but decided on the latter as I love it's oversized face. This is also available with silver casing and details, and the strap is interchangeable, with additional ones retailing at around £25.

I spotted this whilst shopping at an outlet mall in New York, and as it was heavily discounted I didn't need much persuading to buy it! All of my other watches are quite chunky but I love how delicate this one is, and I also adore the mixed metal strap and pearlised face. I'm a big fan of Kate Spade's jewellery collection, and have a couple of her bangles which look lovely worn with this watch.

This Michael Kors 'Lexington' watch was a birthday present earlier this year, and I just love it's chain detail strap and shiny gold finish. Like the other gold MK watch I have, this goes with everything, and I often wear it with a tiny gold pendant I have as the two look great together. Also available in mixed metal and silver, this retails for around £160, and has a date function, as well as 3 sub dials.

What is your must have fashion accessory?
