When I heard that the people behind my favourite drugstore makeup brand Makeup Revolution were bringing out a sister 'pro' range I was beyond excited. How they could top the quality and prices of MUR I wasn't quite sure, but after having a look on their website and spotting dupes of Mac, Anastasia Beverly Hills and Too Faced, I knew I had to get my hands on the range that claims to 'challenge and inspire you and the makeup world.' Available online and now in Superdrug stores nationwide, Freedom offers an extensive range of products with everything from lipsticks and eyeshadows, through to priming water and fixing spray. Yep, it's safe to say that Freedom Makeup is ready to give all other affordable makeup brands a run for their money!

My Skincare Essentials

My skincare routine has been an important ritual to me since my early teens. Back then I tried just about every product out there in a hopeless bid to get rid of my acne, and would religiously cleanse, tone and moisture in the hope that I would one day wake up with flawless skin. Needless to say it never happened- my skin finally cleared up when I was around the age of 18, and only with the help of the pill. Luckily, my routine had stuck by this time, and I have carried on with it ever since (apart from the odd night when I am too tired/ drunk/ can't be bothered to take my makeup off- we have all been there!) Today's post is all about the skincare products I love and simply cannot live without!

Today's post is in honour of the be-a-utiful Makeup Revolution Ultra Metals brushes which launched last week. They are complete dupes of the Real Techniques Bold Metals collection, however they only come in rose gold (the RT ones are a mix of silver, rose gold and gold) and the good news is they are half the price!

Handbag Essentials #1 | Makeup Revolution Protection Pallette | Review & Swatches

In the first installment of my 'handbag essentials' series, I am looking at a multi use product that is not only amazing, but will save you so much space in your handbag. If you are familiar with my blog posts you will know that Makeup Revolution is one of my favourite high street brands as the quality is great and it is so affordable- today the spotlight it on the brand's nifty little protection palette. I ordered this online as I couldn't find it in my local store, and it is currently in their sale for only £4!!! I imagine this means it won't be around for much longer so make sure you snap it up now ladies! Available in 4 shades (from light through to medium/ dark), it contains everything you could possibly want to touch up your skin throughout the day or night.

What's In My Makeup Bag?

I love a good 'what's in my makeup bag' post, and when I discover a new blog it's always what I search for first. I love picking up tips and discovering new products, and without fail I always add another product (or five) to my makeup wishlist which may not be good for my bank balance but is amazing for my makeup bag! Today I thought I would treat you all to a little insight into my makeup bag and what I wear on a daily basis. I use a mix of high street a higher end products- I do love my Mac but if I find a cheaper alternative that works just as well I will happily snap it up!

First up, a little confession. Until a few weeks ago, I hadn’t heard of the Italian professional brand Kiko Cosmetics. How this amazing brand passed me by I do not know, as they have been in the UK for a while now and have stores up and down the country, including an amazing  flagship store on Regent Street, complete with an LED ceiling. Aware that I have some catching up to do, I decided to have a little splurge and try some of their products from their ‘Rebel Romantic’ collection. I know you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover, but I instantly fell in love with the gorgeous Charlotte Tilbury-esk rose gold packaging, and knew that even if I didn’t love the products, they would make for an amazing Instagram post!!

Over the past year I've gone from brunette, to blonde, to bronde and back again, and looking for my next perfect style, I thought I would put together a little autumn/ winter hair inspo post. I must admit that I've never been the most adventurous person when it comes to my hair- in the past when I've found a style that suited me I tended to stick to it, however as I get older I am getting slightly more experimental. Here are the hair colours and styles I am currently lusting over...

Ombre hair first catapulted into our lives back in 2007, however in the past couple of years it has gained popularity and become more bold. Gone are the days when you would get highlights all the way to your roots, instead the 'grown out' look is in, and everyone who is anyone is doing it! Although the blonde and brown combo has been everywhere this summer, it looks as though it is here to stay for autumn. I adore these soft caramel hues and lose waves which look gorgeous on both long and short hair.

I was recently contacted by Born Pretty Store who asked me to choose and review a few bits from their website which is an Aladdin's Cave of all things beauty- to say I was in my element is an understatement! As well as offering some amazingly affordable products, they also ship worldwide for free, PLUS by reading this post you can get 10% discount on your order by entering my code 'BEEH10' at the checkout. Out of the thousands of products they have online, I somehow managed to whittle it down to just 3- here's what I chose...

Last month I went on the most UH-MAZING girls holiday to Vegas where I spent 5 whole days eating, drinking, partying and of course shopping!! On my last day I couldn't resist a little trip to the huge Sephora on the Vegas strip, and after chucking everything and anything into my basket and then realising I couldn't afford 99% of it, I managed to whittle it down to a few key essentials. Here's what I bought...
